Dear friends in photography,  That which I write is meant to be with malice toward none.

Photography through my lenses.

Our American brothers and sisters in photography has an apt saying by referring to a photo as nothing to nothing.

If you take a photo of nothing do not expect something’

Something and nothing are very close neighbours

Your only photo that will be remembered is your last one make your best.

Your camera and lenses are precise technology use it as such…..

Photography however is not an exact science do not judge it as such.

In photography you often have only one chance don’t blow it.

One sees so many photos with great potential that has been completely botched,

to improve you need only a fundamental understanding of light.

The rule of thirds are the corner stone of landscape photography. It is a necessary technique and is applied to improve composition, balance and visual impact, or so say some of us!

Never underestimate the value of lines and forms in any photo.

You can only create something worthy of yourself if you are passionate about it.

If in accordance to your experience, if it feels right it is right.

It is important to know your audience but it is likewise important to produce without subservience. The total attempt must be to create an image that will satisfy the viewer and above all oneself. To change your approach to your art style may in some instances satisfy your audience only to your own detriment.  That may never be!

Keep that passion going!         Gabriel
