What's in the bag?

This is one of the shots that I did tonight for the photographic club I belong too. Each month me have a theme and this month’s theme is still life. I scratched around for quite a few days and I could not manage to find anything worthwhile to shoot until tonight. I landed up walking to the kitchen and saw this old bag standing in the passage, I opened it and landed up finding all these old stuff in the image, I then added some clothes underneath making it look like a old still life shot. My mom's boyfriend’s son landed up having this skull in his room so I decided to add it with for the shot. In this particular image, I am trying to portray life on one bag, in the time of the early 90's until now. Showing what they used back then and also the fact that the older generation has died down. That things change, technology started to rule the world where it’s rare that a person reads a book or looks at old printed images or postcards.

I shot this image using one Speedlite, one reflector and a 50mm lens. I shot this same image 4 times, each time; I would bounce the light in a different direction and reflect the light in all angled. I then drew the other exposures into this shot using the brush tool

Canon EOS 50D
Canon 50mm F1.8 II
Canon Speedlite 580 EX II
Vanguard tripod
Shutter release cable
ISO 100
F/6.3
20sec

Fantasties, die klomp exposures doen die ding, werklik baie, baie goed, mooi kleure, gee lastige skaduwees. Well done. En dankie vir al die inligting wat jy altyd by jou foto's sit.
